Assessing Preparedness of a Community at the Center of Emergency Response

Students at the Population Health Management Research Center took the lead on a study to assess the attitudes and emergency planning practices of residents of Redmond, Oregon- the centralized location for state emergency response for potential Cascadia subduction zone earthquakes. Data was presented to support the mission of the Prepare! Redmond Coalition and the local chapter of the Red Cross of America.
