You are dedicated to Widespread Wellness - creating a society where our collective wellbeing is a priority.

You’re looking upstream and want to address root issues.

You’re in the right place.

Many visionaries in the healthcare, education, and entrepreneurial spaces face hinderances to implementing the changes and programs they wish to see in their field. These hindrances may be political, societal, financial, bureaucratic, and even psychological. While you can see where improvements can be made, the execution of ideas is a complex process that is not always modeled in education or the workplace. If there is a framework in place, it’s often outdated, out-of-touch, or doesn't address root-causes and ways to implement positive change to social conditions. It can seem like these days positive change in the direction of our collective wellbeing is slow or non-existent.

Do not, we repeat, do not give up now.

The time is now for widespread wellness…

If you have ideas for recreating your career, your team, your company, or your approach to whatever you do- we can help.

Feeling blocked, unsupported, disillusioned, or completely burned out is natural, but solvable.

Leaders.
Innovators.
Change-Makers.

We welcome visionaries in Healthcare, Education, Social Services and other people-serving fields who are ready to transform challenges into service-oriented projects. We serve academics, graduate students, and health innovators in the public and private sector. No project is too small when it comes to making positive change in the lives of others. It’s easy to get disillusioned when healthcare doesn't focus on wellness, education doesn’t focus on relationships, and business doesn’t focus on the environment. But there are people like you on the inside of these systems that do.

What unites our clients is the desire to be a part of societal shifts in the direction of our collective wellbeing. We share the belief that the systems aren’t broken, they just really, really need an update. Our one goal is to support the work you envision while aligning it with your wellbeing, so that you can make sustainable progress and feel a connection to a higher purpose. Together through inner work and consistent action, we can nurture our society into a better place for us and future generations.

Dr. Sophie Nathenson,

Founding CEO and Partner

Dr. Sophie Nathenson is a social scientist in the field of medical sociology. Dr. Nathenson designed the nation’s first social science Population Health Management Bachelor's program –– an interdisciplinary program designed to prepare a new kind of healthcare workforce –– one focused on prevention in society. From this program, she and her students started a local research center providing assistance to public health, education, and non-profit organizations. Having tenure since 2016, she had more time to focus on her vision of starting a business that could connect people like her students with innovative projects, and ultimately make a difference in the wellbeing of their community. Dr. Nathenson has published on wellness standards in healthcare, spirituality and coping, holistic leadership, and non-pharmacological approaches to pain management. She applies a sociological, big picture paradigm coupled with intuitive interpersonal skills to empower others to find their place to “plug in”, make a difference, and get unstuck. Her lifelong goal is to help avoid the burnout, poor mental health, and disillusionment that is far too common in people who genuinely want to make our collective environments safer, more peaceful, and more conducive to widespread wellness.

You might be a good fit for our services if this sounds like you:

"I have had the good fortune of working with Dr. Nathenson on several community improvement projects in my community - she has a knack of looking at issues or barriers from a comprehensive and positive perspective that lends itself to problem-solving and innovative solutions. She’s bright and intelligent woman, but the best word to describe her is "inspirational". She is a guiding light for those who know her."
